Who is responsible for your data?

The controller is Václav Navrátil, a natural person based in the Czech Republic who operates FENIX.STUDIO as a personal creator project (“FENIX.STUDIO”, “we”, “us”). FENIX.STUDIO is not presented here as an active trade or company and no Company ID is used for this processing.

What information do we collect?

When you request the FENIX Field Companion, we collect:

• your email address;
• your consent choice and the time and source of the form submission; and
• limited technical information needed to operate and protect the website and form.

You provide this information directly through the signup form. Providing it is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot deliver the toolkit or related emails.

Why do we use it?

We use your information to:

• give you access to the FENIX Field Companion resources;
• send occasional practical FENIX.STUDIO emails about flight preparation, field tools, related books and future Academy resources; and
• administer consent, unsubscribes and the reliable operation of the signup form.

For the toolkit and follow-up emails, the legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.

Who processes the information?

The signup form is hosted and processed through Webflow, which provides the website and form-submission service. The current launch stores submissions in Webflow. Before any separate email-automation provider is connected, this notice will be updated to identify that provider and explain any relevant processing.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long do we keep it?

We keep your email and consent record while you remain subscribed. We review the continued need for inactive subscription records at least every 24 months. After you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, we remove your address from the active mailing list without undue delay. We may retain only the minimal information necessary to honour your unsubscribe request and meet applicable legal obligations.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• give you access to your personal data;
• correct inaccurate data;
• erase or restrict the use of your data;
• provide your data in a portable format; or
• stop processing where the relevant legal conditions apply.

You may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting privacy@fenix-studio.net.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. In the Czech Republic, this is the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Automated decisions

We do not use Field Companion signup data to make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the service, providers or applicable requirements change. The current version and its effective date will always be available on this page.
